The Plumbers Soldering Mat is designed to protect surfaces from deflected heat up to 1000°C when soldering operations are being carried out. This new improved version has increased heat protection with the added Ecomab™ high temperature paper infil and has increased strength and integrity with the wire reinforced kevlar thread binding. The Plumbers Soldering Mat can be used in tight spaces, corners and around pipework because of its flexible Gold Silica 2-Ply construction. This mat is also completely asbestos free.
